Last December, National Bookstore got this BIG SALE goin’ from December 3-11, 2011. I was really excited to check on the books on there. First stop, I got these books for half, err no, not really half but way much more than that, (about 70-80% off of original price). Here they are:

I can’t wait to get my eyes on these (I just hope I’ll have enough time to read). Then, I decided to come back there, one week after I purchased these books. To my surprise I was able to see some books that I really wanted to have. And also got them for about 70-80% off the original price. I LOVE SALE!!! Here are the books I got on my 2nd trip there:

Crazy Shopping in Manila

During Holiday season, this is absolutely a “must go” place. Divisoria, or DiVi, is a one-stop shop for everybody. It has almost everything you need… name it! But, this is also a place not suitable for those who are faint hearted or weak (don’t tell you’re not warned!).

We went there last December 5 and purchased some stuff needed for my niece’s birthday (which was held last December 17).

We ate here (see pic below) and that’s one of the most affordable yet all good lunch I ever had, thus the box-office line.

   This is located in 999 Mall Food Court.

This scrumble is sooo chocolatey … sooo yummy!

I also got these mini notebooks for a lesser price (compared to those in bookstores/department stores).

We also got a short trip to Quiapo and got these accessories from our favorite store there:

Every October, Megamall hold its Sale season. And the laidback chicas consistently go there and shop. Yeah! We got sale alerts. 

Of course, our favorite shop Forever 21 is our first stop. And since we're on a lay low, this is our only destination.

We spent our afternoon in the center mall and market near us. Searching for some cheap finds and buying food for the family is our main agenda. Ahhh! It feels good to do both.

It is true that someone else’s trash is someone else’s treasure…

Recently, me and my shopping buddy went to “cheap-finds” haven , Quiapo. Of course we visited the famous Quiapo Church. Then, the hunting starts…We got this brown messenger bag on the street for only 250Php.(we haggled of course! from 300 down to the said price… yeah!). I’m sooo lovin’ this!

Then I saw this aviator, bought it for … 60Php. Cool! (Hey , it doesn’t look 60 pesos when you wear it! LOL! )

Then we were looking for a plaid button down for my big bro (in a thrift shop) and ended up buying these denim jackets instead, for only… you wouldn’t believe it… 40 Php.(each) . I just love the details of this one…

This was a good buy… it’s Forever21 denim jacket (light wash)! Yeah!

Looking forward to the next adventures…
I should say… “The best things in life , well , are not always free but they sometimes come in … cheap!” . Hahaha!

This haggle thingy and finding “good finds” in a thrift shop is a TALENT.
