Today is Raya's Barbie party at Jollibee Regalado. We (Mom, sistren and I) chose this theme because we wanted to be different.  So we handle all the preparations, from party reservation, loot bags, invitations to the celebrant's outfit. Tiring but super worth it because it's for our little sunshine.

Today is Raya's 1st birthday but she will celebrate tomorrow. I still don't have a top so I asked my sistren to go to the mall. 

First stop was Robinson's Galleria. We found some great finds at 50th Avenue.

Last December, National Bookstore got this BIG SALE goin’ from December 3-11, 2011. I was really excited to check on the books on there. First stop, I got these books for half, err no, not really half but way much more than that, (about 70-80% off of original price). Here they are:

I can’t wait to get my eyes on these (I just hope I’ll have enough time to read). Then, I decided to come back there, one week after I purchased these books. To my surprise I was able to see some books that I really wanted to have. And also got them for about 70-80% off the original price. I LOVE SALE!!! Here are the books I got on my 2nd trip there:

Crazy Shopping in Manila

During Holiday season, this is absolutely a “must go” place. Divisoria, or DiVi, is a one-stop shop for everybody. It has almost everything you need… name it! But, this is also a place not suitable for those who are faint hearted or weak (don’t tell you’re not warned!).

We went there last December 5 and purchased some stuff needed for my niece’s birthday (which was held last December 17).

We ate here (see pic below) and that’s one of the most affordable yet all good lunch I ever had, thus the box-office line.

   This is located in 999 Mall Food Court.

This scrumble is sooo chocolatey … sooo yummy!

I also got these mini notebooks for a lesser price (compared to those in bookstores/department stores).

We also got a short trip to Quiapo and got these accessories from our favorite store there:

After accompanying my sistren for a check up, we decided to have some caffeine fix. Ahhh!  It feels so good to just sit down, relax, read magazines, chat, people watch, sip coffee, and day dream.

Chico's 10th Birthday

Our buddy, Chico, turned 10 last November 18 and that makes him 70 years old in human age. He is such a cool guy (though he gets jealous easily). More years to come, good 'ol buddy! ;)
